OPENING ACTS Friday is what the Black Rose Acoustic Society calls "open stage night." It's not quite an open-mike thing. Groups have to audition, and the level of professionalism is what you'd expect of a regular booking, but it usually yields some pleasant surprises, and this one was no exception. Sealock & German (from Falcon and Woodland Park, respectively) proved a tight-picking duo, with California-style harmonies and touching original tunes. (I hear Richard Sealock does some solid instrument repair work, when he's not playing.)
